Hi ladies, it's been awhile since I have been here but I do check in to see what has been on the forum.

I had a LAVH (laparscopically assisted vaginal hyst.) on Nov. 19, 2002 and also had my cervix and one ovary removed. My question is : Is it necessary for me to still have regular yearly pap-smears or not?????

I figure that all I will be okay except for the on going problems with the endo. that will be with me til the other ovary has to come out. My dr. didn't remove it 'cause she feels I'm too young to have to go through HRT.

My dr. also says that the only real and true way to rid you from ENDO. is to remove both ovaries. Is this true or bolognie..... I would appreciate any feedback from you ladies.
