Re: Question re: EndoWalk for AwarenessFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jan 25 08:27:24 2003
You know as well as anyone who has been in the endo online areas for any significant length of time that the Endowalk committee wasn't "based with" anyone. That was the whole beauty of it. It was intended to be a "nonpartisan" event for all those with endo. While the original committee had members in both EA and ERC and who knows whatever other organization, the Walk itself was open to everyone and didn't exclude those who were not EA members, like it does now. Limiting an event like that and assigning "ownership," when it should really be for the benefit of EVERYONE concerned with endo, was the worst thing the Endowalk Committee ever did. They might as well call it, 'Walk for the Endo Association.' Or do they already do that?
