I broke out in hives the day after my first injection. My doctor refused to believe I could be allergic to the drug because chances of that happening were something like 1%. One month later, coincidentally around the time the Lupron left my system, the hives suddenly stopped. A dermatologist confirmed that the hives were caused by an allergic reaction to the Lupron. My doctor was forced to accept that I could be allergic to Lupron based on the sudden disappearance of the hives and the dermatologist's diagnosis.
