Re: any advice?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jan 23 07:38:12 2003
Victoria and others interested in natural progesterone cream, I beg to differ on bio-identical Natural Progesterone cream issues. It is a licensed prescription only medication in Australia. Just because it is not FDA-approved, it does not mean it has no value or is dangerous (and vice versa - just because something is FDA-approved, it does not mean it's safe either). FYI, this Australian natural progesterone cream comes from laboratory processed wild yam. Wild yam cream in itself is not of any proven value but you can put it through a process to produce a bio-identical natural progesterone, from what I understand. I also know of many people who swear by natural progesterone cream. As far as I'm concerned, it does not matter what me or anyone thinks if the person who uses actually benefits from it.
