Re: any advice?From: Monica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jan 22 19:21:40 2003
thanks, lauren! We've tried different positions, too . . . unsuccessful. My guy is great and has been very understanding for the past 3 years! What herbs were you taking? lauren <anonymous@obgyn.net> wrote:Monica, I had the exact same thing last spring. Practice? That makes no sense at all. I found all positions were equally bad, but it wouldn't hurt to try different angles. My sex pain eventually went away, I am not sure if it was because of the herbs I was taking or just because it spontaneously did. But one thing that did help (if you don't mind me getting too personal) is to orgasm before insertion. One woman on my other board once explained that having an orgasm releases happy chemicals (duh) that help you deal with pain. Also, your muscles are more relaxed and the lubrication factor helps a bit. I am so sorry about this. Sex pain is the worst, but I just think you have to try to work around it and have a good sex life even without intercourse, if it hurts that bad.
