I am trying to recall information I have read on spotting, so bear with me if details are wrong, others here will correct me, I'm sure. It is blood, but is is such a little amount and what I would call "old" blood. By the time it comes out of you, it is brown and not red. It could just be part of your cycle. Next time you talk to your doc, just let him know. If you want an answer now, try calling your doc office and ask to speak to a nurse, she can help you out.
