Re: Has anyone on Synarel experienced bleeding when being penetrated?

Hi Bunny,

Please don't take the lack of response to your question personally. Because of the nature of this message board, where messages appear in a list with newer messages at the top, messages can get "buried" easily. This likely has nothing to do with you or the content of your message, but could merely be due to the time you posted it, or just chance. Also, it's been less than 24 hours since you posted, and less people post on the weekend, so you really need to be more patient.

I didn't personally respond because I have never taken Synarel. However, I do have a suggestion for you. You may have heard of Lupron? This drug is virtually identical to Synarel -- they are both GnRH agonists that put a woman into medical menopause. Therefore, they should have the same side effects. The only difference is that Synarel is taken as a nasal spray, whereas Lupron is taken as an IM injection.

So my suggestion is that, if you don't get a satisfactory response here, you should visit Julie's Lupron Page, where thousands of women share their experiences with Lupron (which, as I said, is basically the same as Synarel). I think you will find the other women there are going through the same things you are with this drug. You should get some answers to your question there. Many of them experience mood swings and depression.

Here's the link: http://forums.about.com/afterlupron/start

I hope this helps you.
