Re: anyone know of endo specialist in clearwater, Florida area? From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Jan 5 17:58:00 2003
The Endometriosis Research Center has their world headquarters in the state of Fla., perhaps they can offer some assistance. They have been very, very helpful to me in the past on other Endo items (for free, thank goodness-if they charged by the request, I'd be broke LOL!). Also, I've seen another site listed here before which turned out to be quite interesting; hcgresources.com/docs.html has a bunch of doctors but the rest of the site is even more interesting, so be sure to check it out. I think the starting page is hcgresources.com/endoindex.html, forgive me in advance if that is mistaken. Also, you can contact the Endometriosis Association at endometriosisassn.org, but I have found that they are slow to respond and also, you have to pay to be a member before they will acknowledge any of your questions. Lastly, I found a good site at womenssurgerygroup.com which was interesting, they might have one of their docs in the area you mention. I know how scary it can be moving to a new place and not being able to find a good Endo doc. Hope these links help a bit!
