Re: StrugglingFrom: Anonymo (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jan 4 01:34:43 2003
Hi there. I am really sorry that you didn't get to enjoy the holidays. I see that has happened to a lot of us endo women, and it really stinks. I must say that whatever your decision, I wish you the best of luck, and hysterectomy does work for some. But in case you do want to consider other options, you might consider going to an endo specialist to have all the endo excised. They report an 80% success rate with endo never returning at all (this is better than with hysterectomy and much less invasive), and for those who it does return it is usually many years later. Here is a list of endo specialists in case you are interested: http://hcgresources.com/docs.html Several of them will give free phone consultations so you can just see what they have to say about your case, and what options they'd offer you. I hope everything works out for you and you find some relief soon.
