Yes, it can spread to other areas as Kristy suggested and is rare. At this point it might be in your best interest to consult a specialist. I am concerned that you are dealing with an gyno that has never heard of Endo in other locations than the pelvic area. There are many out there....Dr. R in Bend Oregon is one. Your doctor can help rule out other problems that might be causing the pain you are having in the upper region of your body, but if nothing checks out, I would definitely pursue with a specialist.
