Re: is it absolutely proven about lupron?

i had the laser done. i had no pain at all until after my second period since the lap. now, i have pain with intercourse (burning after, and deep throbbing pulling feelings during- like my organs are literally being moved around), pelvic pain, and back pain. my period was pretty bad this time too, but that's because i forgot to take my motrin. so i'm definitely going to wait another cycle or two to see what happens. the pain i've experienced this month might be a fluke (i hope). but i just need answers about lupron. it seems that with the addback therapy the side effects are less. but does it really work? that's the question. and do i really need it? that's the other question. my ob/gyn says i'm basically borderline. he says i would benefit from it, but i might not. gee, that really helps me make a decision (being sarcastic). of course, i'm glad he is giving me the opportunity to make this decision. he hasn't been really overbearing about it. he just wants me to think about it and see how i feel after a few months. i guess i shouldn't complain too much. he's not forcing me to take it, and that's a good thing.

thanks for your reply. if it comes to another surgery, i will demand excision. it seems to make more sense. btw, can they do excision if the endo is on the bladder and the cervix?
