Bowel Problems associated with endo? (long)

Hi all,

I used to visit this forum about two years ago but computer went kaputt and only just got online again. I was diagnosed with Endo approx, three years ago. So far, I've had two courses of Synarel, the last of which ended four months ago. When i was on the first Synarel course it worked really well, getting rid of just about every bit of pain i had. Right at the end of the course though, about two weeks before I finished, I started to suffer from diarreah. That was two and a half years ago and I'm still suffering from it, it has never gone away. It varies day by day depending on my cycle, sometimes i'm going two or three times a day, other days, during my period for instance, it can be up to 8 or 9 times a day. I went back to see my gyn after suffering the problem for approx a year and he performed a lap. When he went in, he found the sigmoid portion of my bowel was distended and called in a bowel surgeon for an opinion and they decided to run tests on me. So far, I've had a barium enema, barium meal, sigmoidoscopy (camera) and an abdominal ultrasound performed, all of which have come back clear. My gyn put me back onto Synarel to see if that would help as he thought it was endo deposits on my bowel. The second course of Synarel sorted out the terrible bowel spasms I experienced, but the diarreah is still going strong. Something else i have noticed also is dreadful rectal pain. I began suffering from this a few months before going onto the second course of Synarel and put it down to hemarroids. When I was on the Synarel however, the rectal pain completely cleared up, I had no problems at all. Since coming off it four months ago, this has returned. It's almost like I feel all cut inside and it is extremely painful and my rectum becomes very swollen. Has anyone else on the board suffered from symptoms like this? I know that many suffer from a combination of diarreah and constipation, but has anyone suffered purely from constant diarreah over an extended period of time? and has anyone suffered from these rectal problems? I'm in UK and being treated under the NHS and unfortunately when laps are performed to diagnose problems, they only last between 15 minutes and half an hour (my last one was 15 minutes) so doesn't really give the gyns an awful lot of time to find anything. Sorry this is so long but any info would be really appreciated. I don't really want to go back to the gyn as i know there is very little he can do at this stage as I've only been off the synarel for four months. Thanks for any info :)
