Hi --
This is good info. But just a small correction.
Triphasic does not mean a third hormone -- there are only two in
ortho-tri-cyclen -- ethinyl estradiol (estrogen) and norgestimate
(Progestin). Triphasic means there are three phases of pills.
The amount of estrogen remains the same in all three kinds, but the
amount of progestin increases from the first to the third phase.
