>marlene the colonoscopy is nothing compared to the barium you are totally out of it.I have had the worst pains in my rectum for a year now and have done every test you can think of at 34 years of age i am about fed up with no answers to why i am in so much pain.With always felling like i have to go to the bathrooom and the end result that it wont come out and i am always straining let me know how you make out as i will too

I Agree a Barium enema is not fun,Iread Sylvia's comments the other day and what she said scared me half to death,as i was due to have one today,anyone out there reading these messages *dont panic* its nowhere near as bad as she made out,ok its a little uncomfortable especially when they put gas in your stomach,but its not painful at all, try and relax the best you can and you will get through it..comments made by Slyvia would frighten anyone due to have this procedure done.Trust me you will be ok as i am now :)
