Anon (and pls state a first name so that I will know who I'm addressing if we talk some more about this, we have a lot of anons here that don't give a first name and sometimes it gets confusing as to who I'm talking to), The reason Ortho-Tricyclen doesn't work on a continuous basis is b/c it's a monophasic pill which means it has 3 different kinds of hormones in it. It's b/c of those 3 different kinds of hormones that made it so that it didn't work for you. I have found this out from one of the other lists her on Obgyn.net and others who have Endo on other Endo lists that have confirmed this as well. Also, if you go back in to the archives of this forum you will see even more info on this as well.
