Re: BCP PollFrom: Anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Dec 7 15:01:30 2002
I have used ortho-tri-cyclen for two years since I was diagnosed with endo, and it has worked well for me. I have had regular periods since I've been on it, much lighter than before, and virtually pain free (just the usual monthly cramps controlled by otc pain meds). One thing I noticed is that it does matter when during the day you take the pill. If I took them a few hours apart one day (in other words, 7am one day, 12pm the next), this could cause spotting and slight cramps. It is important to take them at the same time (or within a couple hours) every day.
