Re: endo pain - narcoticsFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Nov 30 11:56:17 2002
Tracey, Women in other States around this country are affected by drs that think they are drug seeking but regardless of where you are located you can find a dr to help you. I live in FL and have a dr that has been wonderful about giving me pain meds. We did have a misunderstanding last year at first but once it was straightened out and she understood why I needed it I didn't have anymore problems. Sometimes it takes work to get a dr to understand the situation but when you can't then you find another that will. If one doesn't work you try another. I have a friend in Austin that I'm going to try to get names of drs in that area for Janice and e-mail them to her. I don't know of anyone in your area but you could check with the ERC to see if someone in your area might know of someone. I do have a friend in Dallas but she's trying to find a new gyn also but not b/c of chronic pain issues per se. Take care, ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html I am a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
