Re: swelling ovary post lap?

Hiall. I had a lap on Wednesday (today is Saturday). My stomach feels very swollen and spongey and on Thursday I couldn't button my jacket because it wouldn't fit around my middle even though the jacket had been too big. After the surgery I felt great (as per my previous post), but in the last couple of days I have had mild pain in both ovaries and that same annoying feeling of pressure on my tailbone. What concerns me is that I have not stopped taking the Vicadin for any length of time and still feeling these symptoms. The incisions don't feel bad at all though. I am a very active and happy person, but in the last two days since surgery I have been depressed. Does Vicadin do that to you? I took it before and it didn't affect me that way.

Thanks for your post Shellye..I'll be looking for the responses.

Kathy
