Hi Stephanie, I lost my right ovary in 1989 to a large endometrial cyst. After that, I made the mistake of taking anything the doctor threw at me and none of it worked. Although I did not get any further cysts, my endometriosis returned with a vengence. Several years after that I was lucky enough to find a naturopathic doctor who did the research and found information on an alternative treatment. I have been using natural (bio-identical) progesterone topical cream for the last 8 1/2 years and have kept my endo and other problems completely controlled. If you'd like more information on progesterone use, what it is, what it does, and how to use it, check out http://www.natural-progesterone-advisory-network.com. And their e-book is well worth the investment. Best of luck! BJ
