I have a lap in a week, the reason is I have not been able to have another child and have been trying to have one since our son was born (7 yrs ago) after trying everything and taking every test, it seems I must have endo. Bad cramps, IBS, the whole thing so it does add up. I did have an ultra sound done and the most pain I have is on the right side, the nurse said that side looks bad. I asked if they would ever do a lap, and a hyst, which scares me to think I will go through all this and find out I can no longer have children, she said if it was life or death. She did say they might take out one or both ovaries, and tubes. I don't mean to be dumb but what do they do with the eggs? Can you even conceive that way? Thanks for any feedback Marie
