I had a LAVH (laparascopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy) last Tues. and about two days ago the drainage or discharge has become a brownish/yellowish/greenish color and I'm worried. I called the dr. and she had already left for the day. They told me to come to the ER at the hosp. but tomorrow is thanksgiving and my family will be here. Also the nurse said something about infection but said we would have to wait til I got checked. The nurse also said something about a vaginal pack. WHAT IS THIS????? I'm so scared because I've had nothing but trouble since I found out I had endo., fibroid tumors, cysts, uterine bleeding. The day of my hyst. I almost died. I went into a coma for about 45 mins., my eyes had already set and dilated. The dr. said I had lost alot of blood. She then had to do a vaginal pack to stop the bleeding, so why now would they have to do that again???????
