Originally, surgeon though it was endometriosis but when he got in - said he couldn't find any. The histology showed 'normal proliferative endometrium'. From what I understand, this is a stage in the menstrual cycle when oestrogen levels are quite high. i don't understand this as I had been on Zoladex for months to stop the bleeding and had no periods. I was also put into a surgical menopause by the drug and had no oestrogen by all accounts. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thank you.
