Hi Anni,

I don't know what stage you are at of your endo. Myself I am a stage 4 I did not try any of the hormonal medications in the past. unfortunatly I did not get diagnosed until I was already at stage 4. I am now unoperable, except for having a hyst which I choose not to do at this time. My personal feeling is that if I had been diagnosed sooner maybe I would have taken treatment to keep it at bay or to knock it back a bit before things got too crazy. Now its too late for me and my organs are all one adhered mass and there is no hope for children. Not to say that this is exactly what will happen to you. Everyone is different. And every treatment option you take must be a well informed decision. And there usually are side affects to everything - but you must wiegh everything out. Whats worse to deal with, the possible outcomes and risks ect. the decision is totally yours to make and is a very personal one to make indeed. I just thought I would share my experience with you just to shed some light from another perspective. I may make you think of some thing and questions you had not before. Just to let you know I'm 33 and I sure wish now I hadn't avoided getting pregnant in the past. Hind sight is 20/20 My advice, with this disease if you really want children DON'T WAIT. START trying NOW.
