New, and questions on upcoming lap

My husband and I have been trying to have another child since my 7 yr old son was born, so after all the tests, it comes to our attention I must have endo, which after reading on it, makes sense. IBS for years, PAINFUL cramps, like going through labor. I was wondering why everyone thought giving birth was so painful, I thought it was a breeze! So, I will be going in for my first lap in a week. What can I expect? How long will I be in the hospital? He is giving me a Lap, a hysteosalpingogram, is this HSG? My other dr gave this to me around 6 months ago, and a hysteroscopy. How long will I be in pain for? Does the peroid cramps end after the lap? How quickly will I be able to conceive? Do they usually give you fertility drugs after? Sorry for all the questions, and thanks in advance for any feedback!
