I forgot to mention about the pain meds....this really frustrates me!!!
My current doc is great about making me feel comfy when I need it. Yes,
most docs are afraid of addiction, but they should give it to you and
just monitor it. There are some (who give us a bad rap) who misuse pain
meds, and then those of us who need it are punished. Based on what you
said, it sounds like your doc is still open to giving you pain meds. I
would have a serious talk with him and let him know you do not plan on
abusing them. Tell him to monitor it by not giving refills so you have
to ask him for them. He might work with you......
