I had the 6 month round of Lupron, just ending last month. While I did have some of the side effects (bone pain, hot flashes, night sweats) I was able to handle them ok. I'm not saying they are pleasant, because they aren't, but if you know to expect them it's a little easier to deal with. My Dr did not allow for "add back" estrogen as he felt it would be detrimental in treating the endo. All Dr's are different though. While I understand your reluctance after reading all the horror stories, there are plenty of success stories out there also. Keep reading and researching, and discuss your concerns with your Dr.
