Anybody have raised body temp on continuous bc?From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Nov 19 12:47:19 2002
Has anyone experienced a slightly elevated body temp (half degree to a degree) after they started continuous birth control? I have taken bcp's for a long time but just started them continuously to help with my endo. I have been running a slight fever for a couple months. I know I had a sinus infection initially (I had it and a slight fever before starting continuous bc) but I am still running an elevated body temp after three visits to my family doc and four different antibiotics. Just started wondering today if I don't really have a fever anymore from the infection (you would think 4 antibiotics would knock it out) but could have a higher body temp due to the change in my pills? Just wondering if this could be it or if I have more serious issues. Bloodwork has all come back normal so nothing appears to be seriously wrong but yet I still am running around 99.3 degrees. If anyone has experienced this please let me know. I hate to run back to my family Doc again without ruling a few other things out. Thanks ladies! Hope everyone is Endo pain-free today! Hugs to all the Endo Angels! Amy
