Tracy, While I don't think it would hurt you to start your pills after the Lupron has worn off, it would probably be best to consult with a gynocologist first. Maybe you could just consult with one over the phone while you wait to find a new one or get in to see them in person? I'm not a Doc and can't tell you what to do but can give you a little info on how I approached it: When my last Lupron shot wore off my doctor told me I could start my pills again as usual. I had my last shot on 8/15/01, so the Sunday following 11/15/01 (I took the 3 month shots) I started back on my normal birth control. However, I was not doing it continuously at that time (I am now) so I knew a period could be coming a few weeks after I started my pills again. My Doc told me it could take my body 3-4 months to adjust back to "normal" after Lupron and that I may not have a period for a few months even on non-continuous birth control. However, as luck would have it, my dumb body went right back on schedule and I had a period 24 days after the Lupron wore off. I don't think it would hurt you to start your pills after you know the Lupron has completely worn off, but I also think it might be best to consult with a gynocologist first, just in case. Each person is different. Hope that helps a little! Amy
