Barb -- You may not be ovulating. I have pains midcycle that kill me off -- I have always assumed they were ovulatory pain. In fact, I am not ovulating, but I am having the typical estrogen surge that comes with ovulation, and hence the lesions respond to the hormone, and I have pain. It seems that ovulation, pain and estrogen do not all skip through the cycle with hands held. It's confusing to me. But I have pain, I have the telltale temp shift, but the OPKs pick up no LH surge, hence no ovulation. Could it be possible that the Loestrin is prohibiting ovulation, just not supressing the estrogen enough to keep it from causing your endo to respond? Kim
