Re: BextraFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Nov 7 07:08:17 2002
I have never tried Bextra, but I recently went on Cataflam, which is a NSAID and it seems to help the pain. My Doc said it is a lot like Ibuprofen, which has always been my saving grace, but stronger. Might be worth mentioning to your doctor to give it a try. I have 50 mg, which I can take 3 times a day if needed. I like it because it seems to keep the pain away for several hours-longer than the ibuprofen would. So far, it hasn't bothered my stomach, although I try to always take it with some food or milk.
