I have been on as many as ten different kinds of birth control pills and none have worked to change my endo symptoms. I went off of them for a while, and the pain was the same. After my lap (my first and only) I was persuaded to go back on bc. I still have pain, but better than before the lap. I guess I can't tell if the pill is helping to reduce my post-surgery symptoms or re-growth, but many people seem to have good results, making it well worth a try. Be on the look out for side effects like depression -- 2 different kinds gave me that, but I switched to a different kind and the depression went away. Good luck to you!
