I was cracking up of your description of scooting up the table, because I am the same way! Doc always has to tell me to "scoot down". Pelvic exams also usually make me spot. Almost everytime I have one, Doc will look at me and say 'Sorry, but I made you bleed a little'. I just try to smile and say 'That's OK'. He's always gentle and very sympathetic, so that makes it a little better. I think it is sad that my poor body is so messed up that even a 30 second pelvic exam throughs it into fits. Someone posted back to your message and suggested taking Advil before hand. I found that to help me too. I usually take a couple about an hour before my appointment and then take two more after. At least it dulls the pain. Hope that helps you a little too. Hang in there. I hope you have a pain free day and weekend!
