In reply to: Kristy: "To everyone about the Pain Management issue" Hi all - I have an appt. the 8th with a new doctor whom I've all ready met with and have lots of faith in (thank god) ---- he's only about the 8th doc I've been through in 3 years.....some of you I'm sure understand that. Anyways, I need to go in for a pelvic exam and I was just wondering if any of you dread them as much as I do.......the pain is unexplainable -- my butt starts at the end of the table and by the time he/she is done --- i'm about as far up as i can go on that damn table!!! Tears streaming down my face the whole time, white as a ghost......Isn't it great when you have a doctor look at you with shock on there face and say -- it's only a pelvic, i understand it may be a bit uncomfortable.........yeh, if they only knew..... I was just looking for some responses from any of you wonderfull ladies that have problems with a 'simple' pelvic.......any suggestions?????? besides asking for a morphine drip???!!!!!!
