endo and candida

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good articles, websites, research in general on the purported connection between candida and endometriosis. I have heard that scholarship of dubious quality has linked the two, although I am not sure if it established any causal or exacerbating relationship in one direction or the other, or if it showed any correspondence of the two conditions with an alleged common cause.

I only ask because my life with yeast infections and endo started at around the same time period, which was also 8 years after my period started and 7 years after I started having sex, so the correspondence does not seem to be related to the natural onset at the start of puberty and hormone fluctuations or to increased exposure to outside sources of infection. Also, it seems strange that when I take herbs and probiotics to combat candida, I seem to have more pain free days. This could be all a coincidence, I know, but I was just curious. Hope all is well!
