Re: Has my endo come back already?

Hi,

I too have supposedly had everything removed and I still have endo because I have ovarian remnant syndrome. Had my hyst/LSO in Sept 95 and had to have my right ovary removed by Feb 97. BTW, my right ovary was perfectly fine at the time of my hyst. Thought they got everything out, my blood work showed I was post-meno. Started premarin. Four months later, I had old familiar pains of ovulation. Went off HRT. After tranvaginal US/blood work/basal body temps showed, I had a remnant/cysts. I have cyclical endo pain in a permnantely swollen lymph node over the sigmoid colon area. (where my endo was at my surgery)

I would suggest going off the HRT and having your blood levels checked after a couple of weeks. Also your doc could do a transvaginal US. That is the only way you will be able to see if there are any cysts, etc. Keep a calendar with your symptoms charted. That will help show the doc if there are any patterns.

Hope this helps. Write back if you have more questions. Best wishes, D.N.
