Has my endo come back already? Ovaries were left because the doc said they looked fine and had no sign of endo on them. In August '02, I had to go back and have both ovaries removed due to cysts. Endo was once again present. The ovaires and endo were removed. Endo was also found inside one of my ovaires. Now here's the question. I have started having some intermittent pain on my right side. This is the side that has always bothered me. I told my Gyn about it on my last post-surgery check-up. He said he felt some nodules. He mentioned this could be swelling due to surgery, scar tissue buildup, or possibly endo again. I was to call him if things got worse; otherwise, he would see me in March '03. I'm currently on the CombiPatch (provides combination of estrogen and the progestin which controls endo). In March, I'll be switched to a straight estrogen patch. Has anyone had this happen to them? Does anyone have an opinion as to what the nodules are? Thanks for any advice you have!
