>Am I to understand correctly that you are saying that other >bills about Endo are still being debated?< If I read the recent ERC press release correctly, it looks like there was one National Resolution passed, calling for widespread awareness, more effective treatments, and further research (I'm paraphrasing here, you can get the exact wording online at the ERC's site); one California Resolution passed for official recognition of Endo Awareness Month; and several other State Resolutions currently pending for the same thing (official recognition of Endo Awareness Month). There was also some bill passed for Tampons/Dioxin/Endo research, I think? I read about it on their site but don't remember the name or # of the bill. I did speak to someone at the ERC before they released the news about the National Resolution, and she told me that PA and MI were likely going to pass their State Resolutions "any minute" and that the others States were following suit, but that it was a "long, tedious process to get Resolutions authored, adopted, cosponsored and ultimately passed." She told me the National Resolution took over a year of daily, constant effort. You can contact them directly at endocenter.org for more info, I don't want to speak out of turn or give any misinformation about them, but that is what I heard/read. I do know that they have had a huge committee for the past few years that does ONLY political and legislative awareness projects, so they have a lot of effort going into these things.
