Re: Fatigue

Fatigue seems to be a big part of this dreaded disease. I am only 31 years old, in good general health, not overweight, etc. but am tired all the time! I can get 8 hours of sleep at night and still feel exhausted. From talking to various women with endo, it seems like this is the biggest complaint next to the pain. The only time I had my old energy level back was when I was on Lupron last year for nine months. The Lupron made me feel great and I was lucky to have very few side effects, mostly just hot flashes, which I got used to. But now after 1 year of Lupron, pain is back and I am now trying continuous birth control. The fatigue seems to be even worse this time around. Just hang in there as best you can. I have found that exercising on a regular basis (mostly walking as I am in too much pain all the time to do anything too strenuous) seems to increase my energy level and just makes me feel a little better in general.
