Anyone experience recurrent miscarraiges with endo?From: Annie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Oct 22 16:44:57 2002
I am just wondering how big of a problem miscarriage can be if you have endo? I gave birth to a son (that I gave up for adoption) 7.5 years ago. I was 18. My husband and I conceived May 31st this year, and I miscarried at 11 weeks on August 1st. I have since had 2 d&c's, one infection, one ovarian cyst, multiple trips to the ER, and finally a laparoscopy that diagnosed endo and appendicitis. They were able to cauterize only a small amount of the endo (in my cul-de-sac), but they had to leave the majority of it because it is on my artery and my ureter. They also took out my appendix because there was endo wrapped around it, and later the pathology report showed that I also had appendicitis. I am getting ready to start the pill, I do not want to take Lupron. My husband and I want to start trying to get pregnant again in May. Can you please share your experiences with me if you have had problems with miscarriage associated with endometriosis? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!!
