Kira,

I would go ahead and have the surgery for the sake of peace of mind. Also, if you are suspecting that you have Endo or your dr is laparoscopy is the only way to definitively diagnose it.

It is very common for a woman that has never had surgery of any kind to be nervous about having surgery but I know that I've heard other first-timers say that they were glad that they had it done.

As the dr told you everyone is different.

Also, if you do have surgery it can take up to 4 months to get rid of post-op pain and that is b/c of the amount of work that may be involved.
