I'm having diagnostic laparotomy done in december and was looking for suggestions, etc.. I'm a bit nervous. I had an unsuccessful diagnostic laparscopy done in august and I've heard that recovery from the laparotomy can take 4-6 weeks, any insight? How long did it take you to recover, etc? I have three weeks to recover before I have to go back to college in janurary for second semester, so I'm hoping I'll be okay... how long were you in bed, etc? Any insight would be great, thanks.
