What medications do you take for your pain?

Hi there,

My name is Annie. I had a lap 2 weeks ago, diagnosed with endo, and they took my appendix too (old endo wrapped around it, path report showed actual appendicitis). The docs were unable to cauterize most of my endo, as it was on my ureter and my artery, too dangerous I guess. Anyways, so I am still left with the pain from the endo AND the pain from the surgery now (mostly the endo pain at this point). I am taking Vicodin everyday still, 6-8 pills a day. I am soooo tired of taking narcotics, I want to know what other women are taking for theie long term pain. I started on 600mg of Motrin, then 800mg Motrin, then that and Tylenol 3, then Vicodin, then Percocet, now back to Vicodin. I have been taking these meds for over 2 months, and would like to find something else that I can take that will help with the pain, but not have the addictive properties of the narcotics.

Can you please tell me what med(s) you take for your pain and how often?

Thank you so much!
