I was up and down in bed for 3 days and doc made about half of inch incision from belly button down straight then a small whole in pelvic area very low. They shave you alittle to make the hole. Doc. put me in strong pain med every 4 hours and that helped alot. Make sure you have pillows. The gas from the anesthesia goes in different places to be absorbed in your body and therefore different places hurt such as ribs and clavical, neck areas. Not too bad of pain so don't freak out.
