Hi, I am 22 also and was diagnosed through a lap at 18. Went on Lupron (huge mistake!) Also had 3 surgeries(laser) and alternate meds to keep it away longer. I don't know where you live, but I personally drive 10hrs to see my doc. He is wonderful. Here is his info: Dr. Donald Pittaway, from Brookview Womens Center, Winston Salem, NC. (336) 765-1461. Please call him before you make any decisions. I am on Mircette BC Pills, and when it starts to come back I use a med. called Aygestin to stop periods altogther then go back to the pill after a few months. This usually keeps me pain free for about two years. After that I go to Dr. Pittaway to get laser surgery. I plan on having a baby when Endo comes back this time. Don't give up that easy. There are more options, but whatever you do if you haven't all ready: Do Not Take Lupron!Research this, its terrible stuff for young girls like us. If you need to talk to me over the phone you can email me at rosebella19@hotmail.com for my #. Glad to help.
