Tammy, Hiya hon! I'm sorry to hear that your pain is back.. Endo can make us feel crazy anyway, but after you have surgery and they tell you they didn't find anything, it's enough to make you want to pull your hair out! Have you been on treatment for endo during this time?? BCPs or anything??? More than likely, you probably still have endo if you are having the same pain and symptoms. If you're doctor isn't experienced with endometriosis, there is a big chance that she missed it. How??? Some doctors don't look in all of the places that they should for the endo, don't know all the appearances that endo can have, and don't have the right equiptment or experience to spot microscopic endometriosis. Microscopic endo can only be seen with the proper equiptment and training. Dr. Redwine has written a few articles on this. Here is just one link to info about microscopic endo, if you run a search you will find more. http://www.endometriosistreatment.org/html/microscopic-endo.html Also, you may want to visit the ERC's online support group.. you can go to the ERC's homepage and there will be a link to it from there. The homepage for the ERC is http://www.endocenter.org . I know that this can be VERY frustrating and can actually make you question yourself.. I was in a similiar situation not long ago (the dr was a complete idiot and fraud). If you have any questions or just want to talk, you can email me privately. That goes for any of you here. I hope that you can get in to see Dr. Lyons, I hear that he is a very good doctor. Take care hon.
