Good afternoon, Last Wednesday I had laparoscopy for pelvic pain dating back to Feb. I became pregnant May 31st, miscarried Aug. 1st. I had a d&c that day, and another on Aug. 22nd for retained products. I was also treated for infection between those two dates. My pelvic pain disappeared during my pregnancy and returned about 2 weeks after my loss. I have been on narcotic meds since then. After my lap I was diagnosed with mild endo, and my appendix was taken out because "old endo was wrapped around it". (so says the general surgery post-op report) There was also some "powder burns" cauterized from deep inside the cul-de-sac, and also some powder burns on the left ureter and left uterine artery that they did not cauterize, too much danger of hemmorhage or stripping. The pathology report came back today and it showed that there was no endometriosis, but that I did have mild appendicitis. WHAT NOW? I mean I dont understand how the gyn. surgeon can see obvious powder burns where he did, and cauterize them, and say that old endo was wrapped around my appendix, and then it isnt endo? What could it be? I have been told that adhesions would NOT be caused by the 2 d&c's that I had in August. I did have hernia surgery when I was 6 weeks old, almost 26 years ago. And wouldnt it have been more obvious that it was adhesions rather than endo? I am so confused, and now nervous as to what it could be. I am going to post this over on the general womens message board also, but if anyone here has ANY words of wisdom they would be greatly appreciated! I have a call in to my gyn's office, but it being Friday afternoon I dont think I will get a call back until Monday. Thanks for reading,
