Re: low back pain while drivingFrom: Michele (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Sep 30 20:19:34 2002
My endo is mostly on my right side, both back and front. Occasionally I get pain in my left side but not much. Like you Trish I can't drive long distances and my husband and I just drove from MD to NE and I felt so bad cause he drove most the way all the way through. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks! Yes, right now i am recovering from surgery a week ago. But i did experience the back pain like you did. Most of my pain has always been right sided- the found endo all over my appendix and bowel adhered to uterus with other things but these were similiar to yours. The haven't found any problems with my bladder which i thought that was the culprit due to constant infections. Any time i would sit for short or long periods of time i would get very restless and anxious and could not get comfortable. Hopefully this surgery has worked for me i don't know. The only thing that helped me was pain meds and getting up and walking more frequently. Good Luck.
