Can ENDO appear suddenly in your mid 30s?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Sep 29 21:33:22 2002
For the last year or so, I've been fighting what supposedly seemed like UTIs. Urgency, frequency, and lower back pain along with stomach bloating. Urine cultures negative, IVP & ultrasound results were fine! Taken many antibiotics. Doctors cannot seem to rule out what my problem is. My gyno suspects ENDOMETRIOSIS and would like to investigate further. I do have painful periods (perhaps even more in the last year) and seem to always have pain in my lower LEFT side of my back! Driving a car is unbearable. Sitting for long periods at my desk at work as well. Could ENDO suddenly hit all of a sudden at 36 yrs old? I thought you were diagnosed with this disease at a young age. Oh by the way, I've been on the birth control pills for approx 16 yrs (taking a lower estrogen pill over the last 2 years). Any advice or comments on this would be appreciated.
