The reason there are few endo surgeons who excise around the bowel and bladder is that the insurance co does not adequately reimburse for a lengthier procedure.I can see where that might be the issue. Nontheless,it's still unacceptable. Perhaps we need a larger organization to lobby to at least get the ball rolling here. I read these posts religiously and see only about five names of endo surgoens in the U.S. who are considered top notch. This is NUTS. I live in one of the worst areas for medical care,Upstate NY, and there are,believe it or not, easily more cosmetic surgeons in a 10 mile radius.
