hi, i just wanted to say i`ve suffered rectal pain for years, and have always felt too embarressed to mention it to the doctors. (silly i know) But it is a little comfort to know i`m not alone. Although i wouldn`t wish it on anyone.I am new to this site, and after years of despair, and doctors treating me like a hypochondriac, i was finally diagnosed 6 weeks ago with endometriosis. I have had many sleepless nights with the pain, expecially the rectal pain. Sometimes i also feel as though there is some kind of movement going on in there. I`m hoping the doctors will check other areas, such as my bowels, to see if there is any endo. there. I have also been diagnosed with pelvic congestion, and wondered if anyone else out there has the same problem. The doctors have put it down to stress. I also have a large ovary on my right cyst, and my falloipian tube is stuck to it. I am waiting for surgery. I had to travel 200 miles to find a hospital that could or would help me.I want to say i really feel for you all. MY life has been hell, so i can relate to yours. No one else in my family have the faintest idea how horrible this illness is. Interestingly 3 years ago i was diagnosed with a rare immune disorder, called auto immune hepatitus. My immune system is attacking my liver. I have also heard this is a immune disorder. So its worth checking out unusual symptoms. Sorry this has been so long. Sleepless night for me. Too much pain. God bless you all.
